The Way of Doing Lat Pull Downs with TRX

1. Position the TRX above you. Grab a seat and make sure you are comfortable. The height of the chair should be enough that your feet touch the ground.

Second, the food cradles are used to make sure that your feet are safe. Have you ever used the machine to do the lat pull, you must have noticed that there is a place used to secure the feet. However, we substitute this equipment with the foot cradles. Do you know why we need this equipment? 3. Adjust the TRX straps to the maximum resistance. The lat pull down is meant for heavy weights. Instead of that, we will use the resistance of the straps.

Fourth, make sure that you have held the handles firmly. You need to pull the straps down to the chest and your back should always be straight. Some tips are: your palm should be put in the opposite direction; and your hands should be in distance.

Finally, you should return back to the original position. To do this movement, you have to loose the grip so that the straps can return to the former position. Make sure that you have done this movement in right form. Only in right form can you do it effectively. This workout should usually be done for 3 sets of 15 repetitions each. Of course, for beginners, you can do the easy ones first; and then gradually adding volume of exercising. Once more, during this process the back should be straight all the time so that you can feel the force of the workout.

In a word, the TRX lat downs can train the back effective. What’s more, the biceps can also be trained with this lat downs. Only in that you should keep the palms facing you and the grip on the handles should be reversed. In this way, the arms can get more tension compared with the back.
