Proven Bicep Muscle Building Technique

If you’re thinking of gaining more muscles so that you can start showing off those abs at the beach this summer, then you’ll need to understand this. Muscle building is not the same as losing weight! A common misconception is to think that all body workouts are the same, but they are not. Some exercises that target specific part of the body are meant for fat loss, while some are for gaining muscles.

The most sought after muscle group will no doubt be the biceps, as they are visible to others as compared to any other part of the body. The easiest and fastest way to get your biceps defined is no doubt to perform curls, because they are quite effective in breaking down your muscles, which is important for muscle growth, as such below are some bicep exercises that are proven to be quite effective.

These exercises below are meant for gaining muscles as they can give you faster results, whereas those below are not suitable to use to lose weights.

Alternate curls (standing) – A great way to start building on this muscle group is this exercise because all you really need to start is just a set of dumbbells. When you start, you want to hold the dumbbells with your palm facing each other, while you start lifting, make sure you are only doing it one at a time. Life the dumbbells upwards while rotating your palm to face forward, upon full contraption your palm should fully face the front. Slowly lower down your dumbbell back to its original position and repeat the same for the other hand.

Bar curls (standing) – You should be starting at a shoulder width, simply start with an underhand grip technique. Raise your arms straight out until you fell your biceps are fully contracted, after you are ready, simply lean forward and start curling your arms back in one smooth and powerful motion to have the full effect of this exercise. Remember to lower down your arms and weight slowly.

The recommended repetition is 10 and 3 sets for both the exercise.

The important thing to do is to overwork your biceps and tear them down, only which you will be able to grow more powerful and bigger muscles. Remember to include rest days in between your workout for better muscle growth.
