Nice Flat Abs For Men And Women
Stomach exercise flat abs – getting flat and toned abs is something that so many people try to do. There are numerous exercise you can do to get flat abs but these need to be combined with a healthy diet and different cardio fitness sessions. First of all, the bicycle exercise is excellent at targeting the main upper abs and the obliques. Essentially is involves lying flat on your back with your arms behind you head. Bring your left leg up off the floor to you chest and raise your shoulders off the ground. Then straighten your leg and do the same movement on the right leg. Continue this process as if you are riding a bike whilst lying flat.
An excellent tool in getting flat abs is the exercise ball. Lie resting with your lower back on the ball and cross your arms behind your neck. Contract the abs to raise your torso off the ball and gently lower your back down again. Repeat this without rolling the ball and using your core to stabilise.
The vertical leg crunch is another good exercise. Lie again on the floor and extend the legs straight up. As you do this contract the abs to raise your shoulder blades from the floor. Keep the legs in a fixed controlled position and then lower slowly back to the floor.
You could also try the long arm crunch. Again lie on the floor or mat and extend your arms out above the head with the hands together and the arms brushing against the ears. Again contract the abs and raise the shoulder blades, whilst avoiding straining the neck.
These are a few basic exercises that can be done anywhere. There are many others that use additional weights or equipment that can be very effective.
