I’m pretty sure you have just enough knowledge to get toned arms. I mean, we have been flooded with exercise and diet information for years on end. Yet I’m also pretty sure that you have been struggling to lose arm fat.

Usually, it’s an inability to stick with a program for long periods of time. We are great at starting strong, but few of us can actually finish strong. Thus, the main area women wishing to get rid of arm fat should focus on is psychology.

If only behavioral change were as easy as 1, 2, 3. Unfortunately, any time we try to change a habit or establish a new routine, there is a lot of initial resistance. This resistance is what keeps many women from reaching their sexy arm goals.

2. Persist with patience over time: I know I’m beating a dead horse here, but too many women come to me every day asking for a quick fix. And while there are accelerated ways of getting toned arms, nothing is both rapid and easy. There is hard work involved when getting fast results. And if you start off with unrealistic expectations, you are setting yourself up for major disappointment and subsequent abandonment.

3. Don’t assume negative outcomes: Always test your assumptions now matter how ridiculous they may be. If you assume the negative, you are most likely going to procrastinate. If you assume that eating healthy to get toned arms is a pain, then you are probably not going to eat healthy unless something drastic happens. Instead of dwelling on the negative, why don’t you test run a week of clean eating and see how it goes?

4. Give yourself positive reinforcement for every little milestone: The people that reach the top have the ability to produce positivity on demand, even in the darkest of hours. Thus, you need to start training your mind in this way. Now this may sound simplistic, but it works.

So what’s the secret to losing arm fat? Long term motivation that allows you to stick with a program. If we could manufacture motivation and sell it in a bottle, the world would be full of overachievers in every single discipline. Thus, if you want toned arms the mind is ground zero.
