How To Make Sure Insulin And Carbohydrates Don’t Ruin Your Progress
Making yourself more sensitive to insulin is a great way to accelerate fat loss. You see, as insulin sensitivity increases so does your rate of fat loss.
The main issue here is that many people do not know how to optimize their levels of insulin.
So here is how to increase insulin sensitivity for better fat loss:
1. Resistance train: Without resistance training it will be very hard to maximize your insulin sensitivity. You see, of all the different exercise modalities, resistance training increases insulin sensitivity the most. So make sure you have at least 2 resistance training sessions per week.
2. Don’t overdo the whole grains: Whole grains are constantly touted as being healthy. Well the issue here is that most people are eating too many whole grains. Instead, make the bulk of your carbohydrate intake come from legumes or beans.
3. Don’t overdo negative contractions: Negative contractions are great for increasing muscle damage which in turn can increase muscle growth. But there is a catch because negative contractions also decrease insulin sensitivity.
4. Don’t have carbs in the last meal of your day: This will help you fall asleep quicker, get more growth hormone output and make you more insulin sensitive the morning after when you have breakfast. Now the only exception here is if you wake up lightheaded because of low blood sugar.
5. Eat lots of vegetables in every meal: This will slow down digestion rates even further. And a slower digestion rate will help keep insulin levels rock bottom low. Even better, vegetables will increase your energy because of nutrient load with minimal caloric load.
6. Use nature’s gifts to your advantage: One such gift is natural cinnamon. Not only is it loaded with anti oxidants, but it also has lots of compounds that increase insulin sensitivity. The key here is to buy Ceylon cinnamon, not regular cinnamon.
Making your body more sensitive to insulin will make things much easier in terms of fat loss. So make sure you take action here sooner rather than later!
