How To Enhance Your Circuit Training For Faster Fat Loss
In terms of time efficiency, circuit training is by far the fastest way to get in shape. You burn lots of calories and make your body secrete lots of fat burning hormones.
The major issue is that many people are not doing their circuit training in the most effective way.
So here is how to enhance your circuit training for better fat loss:
1. Experiment with upper and lower body splits: You see, although you can activate more muscle mass with total body circuit training, you cannot use very heavy weights. And heavy weights are necessary for maximum caloric burn.
2. Use dextrose: A little dextrose right before you begin exercising will go a long ways when you put your body to the test. So make sure to have a little dextrose or maltodextrin right before you begin exercising for the best workouts possible.
3. Avoid machines: The research is very clear here, machines activate less muscle mass than regular free weights. So make sure you make the majority of your workout free weight based. Stay away from the flashy machines.
4. Try to exercise from the standing position as much as possible: Standing exercises activate a lot more muscle mass versus seated exercises. Moreover, they do a better job at correcting bad posture. Since bad posture is caused by being seated all the time.
5. Use liquid nutrition immediately after your workout: Liquid nutrition will be readily absorbed by your body right after a workout. And this enhanced absorption will make it much easier for your body to recover. So make sure you have some liquid carbs and protein.
6. Rest until the majority of your soreness is gone: Circuit training places a heavy toll on your body. Thus, it requires that you increase the amount of time that you are under rest. And if you don’t fully rest and recover your intensity will go down.
Circuit training is a great way to lose fat and get in shape. The key here is to make sure you get the most out of your time!
