Easy Things You Can Do To Reduce Your Weight

Adaptation is both a blessing and a curse. It’s a blessing because it has allowed the human species to thrive on this planet, but it’s a curse because it can make your fat loss come to a screeching halt.

And once adaption takes hold of your fat loss efforts, getting results can become virtually impossible.

So here are some easy things you can do to lose a little more fat:

1. Aim for at least 2 salad-based meals per day: This is a super simple way to get more nutrients in your diet with minimal caloric load. Even better, salads do a great job and keeping insulin and blood sugar super low. This in turn will boost fat loss.

2. Reduce the size of your last meal by half: You really won’t feel the effects of this since it’s later in the day and you are close to falling asleep anyways. You see, as the day progresses your metabolism naturally slows down. And reducing your meal by half accelerates this process and lets you sleep better.

3. Wake up at the same time every day: Sleep has a direct impact on many aspects of fat loss, from metabolic regulation to hormonal regulation. And the best way to optimize all of the above is to simply wake up at the same time every day.

4. Cover half of your plate with vegetables for every non-salad meal: Of all the strategies this is probably the simplest, yet most effective. By increasing your vegetable intake so dramatically not only will you increase energy, but you will decrease blood sugar and insulin.

5. Drink water in between meals: This will help with your digestion, your metabolism, your sense of hunger and your mental alertness. You see, drinking when you eat is a poor strategy for hydration because your body uses water to digest food in between meals.

6. Exchange all your starches for legumes: Whole grains are better than sugar, but legumes are better than whole grains. In fact, legumes and beans are the best sources of carbohydrates you can eat. You see, they are loaded with fiber and have a minimal impact on blood sugar.

Sometimes it’s the low hanging fruit that can make fat loss that much easier. So take action here sooner rather than later!
