Are The Muscle Mags Misleading You?

It seems logical to look for tips for bodybuilding in muscle magazines, particularly if you want to be a bodybuilder, right?

Well, not really.

Reality is that these bodybuilding magazines mostly fail to provide unbiased information on the subject.

In addition to offering incorrect tips for bodybuilding, most of the information in these magazines is actually advertising.

These magazines feature people who are genetic freaks, able to bulk up on just about anything.

In addition, these magazines provide tips for bodybuilding that are targeted at advanced bodybuilders; they are not suited to the 99 percent of us who are simply human and need to pay closer attention to our programs.

This is not to say that all the tips for bodybuilding are bad.

In fact, supplementation also plays an important role, particularly with respect to supplements such as creatine, protein, glutamine, and EFAs.

For the average bodybuilder, these supplements are safe and effective.

On the other hand, supplements that include growth hormones and steroids are considerably dangerous and not suitable for the conscientious bodybuilder.

Believe me when I tell you that the sculpted men and women in these mags did not achieve this look by consuming the worthless products endorsed by the mags.

Looking at their pictures or reading about them gives you false sense of what you should look like; most of their looks are artificially enhanced.

In order to build a good body, you don’t need to waste your hard earned money on buying every supplement that promises “massive muscle gains.”.

Almost half of the total volume of these mags comprises advertisements; why would you want to waste your money on buying them?

In fact, most of the tips for bodybuilding and articles in these magazines are nothing but tricks to get you to buy their product.

Most of the advertisements, even those disguised as tips for bodybuilding, do not provide any unbiased advice and information; in fact, they are plain useless.

Many tips for bodybuilding will tell you that the bigger you are the better, because bodybuilding is a sport where more is usually better.

But keep in mind that many of the models in these magazines have pushed their bodies beyond all health and safety limits.

Following these impractical tips for bodybuilding is not going to help you achieve any real muscular gain, unless you’re also a genetic freak.

What’s worse is that some of the so-called bodybuilding tips that are included in the muscle mags can lead to serious injury and are downright wrong.

The truth is that to get the body of your dreams, you don’t need to spend thousands of dollars.

All it takes is a little hard work, dedication, proper planning, and motivation.

A majority of the people who are reading this will respond to regular exercise, proper nutrition, and sufficient sleep in a normal and effective manner.
